Maddox Equestrian is based in Taupo, offering a carefully selected range of exceptional equestrian products, backed by a personal and knowledgeable service.

We have worked in the equestrian industry professionally for 20 years starting and training sport horses and originally trained as Certified Saddle Fit Technicians, Equine and Saddle Ergonomists of the Saddlefit4Life global network. We have also trained extensively in Europe with leading saddle manufacturers and are Antarès and Butet Certified Saddle Fitters and Technicians. 

We have evolved with the products we use. A constant search for superior quality, function / design, comfort and durability led us to forming exclusive relationships with manufacturers of equestrian products such as Sellerie Butet, Antarès Sellier and Flex-On Stirrups in France and EquiFit in the USA.

Our products are used world wide by top riders in every discipline and ultimately, without exception improve the performance of both horse and rider.  We stand behind every product we sell and as riders and trainers and we enjoy getting to know our customers and discussing equipment choices and encourage you to call or email should you require any assistance or advice.

We commit to providing a personalised customer service - it is of outmost importance to us that we have happy and comfortable horses and riders. 

We travel nationwide with our mobile shop and cover both the North and South Island and have a full range of Butet and Antarès trial saddles available.
